Be your own boss

If you want to open your own business, there is no substitute for entrepreneurial training. Maybe you want to be your own boss so that you can set your own hours, build something of your own, or get rich through your new venture.  Unfortunately, sobering statistics await a new entrepreneur.  The average entrepreneur fails 3.8 times according to Small Business Association statistics. However, in his book entitled The Entrepreneur's Guide to Finance and Business, Stephen Rogers states that the number one reason cited by failed entrepreneurs for their lack of success is not enough training.

Work for Somebody Else

Maybe you don't want to be your own boss. If you've got plans to work for someone else, that's o.k., because employers want to hire employees with entrepreneurial skills as well.  Someone who can think like an entrepreneur can see opportunities to make the business more successful, they can think like an owner and make larger contributions to the success of the company. Finally, entrepreneurially trained employees tend to need less supervision, be able to complete their objectives more quickly, and be more promotable than their untrained peers.  According to a study done by the Center for Creative Leadership, 88% of the employers they surveyed actively sought employees with entrepreneurial skills.
